G.T. Pickett Landscape and Cattle Painting
This is a large original oil painting by G.T. PIckett (1904-1985) of a serene pasture split by a meandering stream with cattle on both sides. Gerald Thadeus PIckett was an artist from Arizona and California. The mother and calf in this painting are true to life. The painting measures about 24″ x 48″ without the frame and 29″ x 53″ with the frame. According to a relative of the painter, the painting is of an Indiana farm. G.T. Pickett was born in Indiana.
